Q+A begins at 7:00 minutes
- Coming soon: ability to delete events, organizations, attendees, areas, and rooms.
- If you are not recording locally, you will not be able to record breakout rooms. (11:30)
- Breakout room recordings are not available when you email halp@obv.io to gain access to your recordings.
- Adding team members to Obvio. (16:00)
- All team members are invited by the Obvio owner.
- All team members must set up a free Obvio account - note the email they create their account under.
- Once team members accept their invitation and have a free account, the Obvio owner will be able to assign team members roles.
- Roles refer to the various privileges team members can possess within Obvio.
- A team member is assigned to a role within an organization, not a specific event - be careful when giving team members the ability to create events and edit the dashboard, because they will be able to do that across ALL events in the organization.
- Buttons are either "enabled" or "disabled" - they cannot be programmed to dynamically appear. (19:30)
- Disabling a button will make it disappear from attendees' dashboard.
- Custom emojis should be square 150px (23:30)
- Holding an event behind a firewall. (24:00)
- People could want this because of traffic or security.
- Zoom on premises (25:15)
- Security of running Zoom through Obvio. (27:30)
- Obvio prevents users from accessing the Zoom room through the link (demoed at 28:40) - instead, rooms must be accessed by registered attendees in Obvio.
- "Requires approval" - optional check box which secures the rooms and prevents link sharing. (31:30)
- The "green shield" Blue refers to can be found in the upper left corner in the physical Zoom room.
- Important note about functionalities in Zoom vs. Obvio
- Lock meeting and waiting room capabilities are set up by the host of the Zoom meeting. This means, it's done within the Zoom application by whoever launches the room through Obvio. Obvio will not interfere with the host's ability to allow or block certain actions in the Zoom room, because needs will vary by event and room. (39:15)
- Allow attendees to mute and unmute, allow attendees to start their video. These settings are all set up by the host of each, individual Zoom room. (39:55)
- In short, Zoom rooms are created, secured, and entered through Obvio, but once you are in the Zoom application, most Zoom functions are fully accessible and should be monitored by the event host or their team members.
- As the host of a Zoom meeting, you can stop any attendee's video, at any time.
- Adjusting the dashboard background (44:30)
- Note: Drop-Shadow can now be enabled or disabled using the toggle on the right.
- Also, note "background opacity" and "header background opactity when setting up your dashboard. These two functions will allow you to dim and brighten your images according to event needs.
- In the main nav setting
- Dashboard walk through (48:40)
- Blue spruces up an existing dashboard and tests the dashboard with a fake attendee.
- Advice on naming your areas and rooms (55:30)
- Attendees will enter the Zoom room with the name of the room, plus their name as it appears in Obvio. Example: 1 - Jane Doe (name of the room = 1, name of the attendee in Obvio = Jane Doe).
- Visibility rule walk through (57:00)
- Group = Field, Value = what you want the field to read
- Visibility rules are case sensitive!
- Applying visibility rules to ribbons (demoed at 1:02:00)
- Changing the size of buttons (demoed at 1:00:00)
- 12 = 100%, if you change the size of two buttons to 6, those buttons will appear on the same line, next to each other.
- Rearrange buttons via drag and drop.
- Need a dedicated computer for each Zoom room you plan to run concurrently. (1:18:30 - 1:22:10)
- Dealing with last minute registrations. (1:22:30)
- This depends on how you are choosing to communicate with attendees.
- InfusionSoft is currently a native integration within Obvio.
- For a Zapier invitation, email help@obv.io - please include the email where you'd like the invitation sent.
- Dashboard walkthrough (1:26:30-1:46:30)
- Dashboard pixel dimensions
- Best practice: 1 area, with 1 room inside it per sponsor (1:49:30)
- LiveChat within Obvio is enabled. (demoed at 1:53:00)
- API integration discussion (1:56:00)
