  • iFrame discussion (3:30 and resumes at 18:45)
    • WordPress embedded into a blog post. 
    • Running an insecure website inside a secured website will not work. It will appear within the editing version of Obvio, but not for the dashboard attendee's will see. 
    • The fix would be to aquire a certificate for the insecure website to enable it within Obvio. 
  • Giving points to attendees manually (5:30)
    • Points can now be manually added and subtracted from individual attendees. 
    • Points can only be automatically awarded for actions taken on the dashboard. However, if you wanted to award points for an action taken outside of the dashboard (i.e. sending an email, posting on a Facebook page), points can now be manually given to individual attendeees.

Go to the "attendees" tab in Obvio. To add or subtract points from an individual manually, click on the blue trophy icon to the right of the attendee's name (shown above)

    • Web browsers must be 2019 or newer to support Obvio. See a complete list of supported browsers here. (Internet Explorer is unsupported)

        • "Show on load" means the answers to questions will appear automatically upon page load. If that is turned off, attendees can click the questio to reveal the answer.

      • Can apply visibility rules (28:55)
    • Reports feature is available - may be a bit buggy (30:15)
      • Reports allow you to compile all attendee answers to forms into a pdf.
      • UPDATE: Reports should be working correctly. NOTE: If you make edits to your forms after any attendees have input responses, you will lose access to previously inputted data.
    • Blue demonstrates how to acheive buttons with rounded edges using "Border Radius" (demoed at 36:25 - 37:15)
    • Waiver improvements (40:00)
      • Increased visibility to prevent attendees from missing the check box and signature box. 
        • Darkened check box and dotted signature box
    • Radio buttons now have an "other" option - allows attendees to select "other" as an answer and a text box will pop up and allow them to customize a short answer (42:20)

  • What to do with extra, unwanted rooms (44:30)
    • Rooms cannot be deleted. 
    • There is no functional downside to not using a room, you can ignore any unused rooms.

    • Takes any black text on the dashboard and turns it white

  • Pixels for full size background image (1920x1080 pixels) (1:14:00)
    • All assets and pixel demensions to create a dashboard can be found here
    • Remember that all attendees will see your dashboard through a different resolution
    • It's best to trail and error your background image, because it should be visible with varying window sizes, etc. 
    • Can use "Responsive Design Mode" if you use Safari as your browser (demoed at 1:19:40)
      • This will give you a peak into what your dashboard looks like on various devices. 
  • Discussion of direct Zoom links, rather than going through Obvio (1:21:15)
    • If your rooms are protected, direct Zoom links won't work 
    • To turn off room protection, go into Area, and uncheck the box in front of "Requires approval?" (demoed at 1:22:00)
    • Requires approval means your room is secured and is not accessible unless the attendee is registered through Obvio and they enter the Zoom room through Obvio (by clicking one of your created buttons).

  • Attendees do not need a Zoom account to attend an event through Obvio.
  • Bug report: Imported a second CSV file that contained duplicate group information and it imported duplicate attendees (1:35:35)
    • This should not happen. If you have to make changes to existing attendees, you can re-import a CSV file with the changes and it will make the changes without duplicating the attendee. 
    • Attendee data is tracked within Obvio through attendee email.
  • Feature request - Exhibitors page (Coming Soon)
    • Exhibitors page will behave very similarly to Speakers/Sponsors page.
  • How can you access your event recordings? 
    • Email help@obv.io with your event's name and date and we will send you your recordings
