- Dashboard or Header Background issues (00:00)
- Double check the color opacity
- Both the header and dashboard background have opacity preferences (see the image below)
- If you are uploading an image for the header and/or dashboard background, be sure to default the background colors to white (#FFFFFF as shown below)

- Check In Issues
- Video referenced - Tech Check - Agent View
- Check in process explained - Obvio Check In Process
- To launch Tech Check, there must be a team member on the backend of Obvio who opens the area and launches the Zoom room from inside Obvio.
- Only then will attendees be able to access Zoom through the third step of the check in process. (Please note: You must link your Tech Check page to an area with in Obvio, as seen below in "pick an area").
- Best practice: In your tech check description, make it clear that attendees will be taken to Zoom, or asked to install Zoom, if they do not already have it on their device. Clicking the button on the tech check step of the log in process and actually launching Zoom is critical. Otherwise, attendees will not be able to access the dashboard.
- Example of roles set up within Obvio (20:00)
- These roles are customizable and can be created based on your event needs.
- Best practice: Limit how many team members can "create events" and "configure events", because these privileges can affect the content you have created for your dashboard.
- Checked boxes represent privileges a team member has.
- Unchecked boxes represent privileges a team member does not have.
- Troubleshooting buttons that display the offline message, when they should be active. (28:15)
- An area is connected to the button.
- The area is open.
- The room or rooms under that area are open.
- Refresh the attendee's dashboard to be sure their buttons reflect all changes made on the backend of Obvio.
- Check the attendee limit (if any) in each room set up underneath the problem area.
- If only certain rooms underneath an area are online, be sure the attendee is not assigned to an offline room.
- To do this:
- Go to the "Attendees" tab in Obvio.
- Search for the attendee's name.
- Click the blue clipboard next to the attendee's name.
- Check to see if they are assigned to a specific room underneath the area they are having issues accessing.
See below for reference: Attendee Heather S is assigned to tech check room 5. If this attendee clicks the tech check button and room 5 is not online, they will receive an offline message. Even if other rooms under the tech check area are open, unless room 5 is online, Heather S will receive an offline message.
To fix this, unassign a specific room to the attendee OR assign them to another room that is online using the drop down menu.

- Workaround for attendee label issues (54:55)
- Load balance accross rooms (1:03:10)
