Obvio Updates (5:30)

  • MailChimp integration available on the platform (in the services tab). Can now work with Obvio, without Zapier. (6:15)
    • Visual demo begins at the 7:10 minute mark. 
      • There is now the ability to import an existing audience from MailChimp.
      • Your needs will be based on how your audience gets into MailChimp.
  •   New Template Demo - Cards Template (11:00 - 27:00)
    • Dashboard and login page looks different than the standard template. 
    • The background image on the login and dashboard will change each time the page is refreshed. This is expected behavior. The images can be selected under the general tab. Up to five (5) images can be selected for rotation on refresh.  
    • Walk through of the login steps for this template. Notice, no progress bar, instead there are icons and step summaries. (14:00)
      • Icons and step summaries can be customized in the general tab.
    • Dashboard example (15:00) - buttons look different that simple blog and panels.
      • Only possible to have, up to, two (2) rows of buttons. 
      • In the editor, you will not see your chosen border radius, it will always be a square. However, if you turn on preview mode, you will view the border radius as attendees will see it. 
    • Tabs link out to sponsors, sponsors, virtual backgrounds, FAQs, etc. (17:20)
      • You won't need to create buttons for these pages. 
  • Obvio users are welcome to set up test events to experiment with the software in general or a specific template.

  • Emoji page updates (35:15)
    • Emojis are available to attendees on the dashboard, but they float up over the speaker's backdrop, NOT the dashboard. 
    • Blue does a visual demo of the newly configured emoji page at 36:30.
    • New ability to upload a background image to the system and float emojis up over the background image. (38:00)
    • This process simplifies the use of emoji and requires less hardware for emojis to function. 
  • Blue outlines the issues with using eCamm for an event held on Obvio. (40:20)

Obvio Q+A begins at 43:30. 

  • Dial in number for Zoom accounts connected via Obvio. (42:55)
    • Available on a case by case basis for specific Zoom meetings.
    • To request this, please email help@obv.io.
    • Remember, Zoom and Obvio are both mobile responsive, so most events are best left without the ability to dial in.
