Zapier walk through and information contained in this call.

  • Updates have been made to the InfusionSoft integration, in order to more closely mirror the MailChimp integration. (11:30)

Obvio Updates

  • Ability to add buttons to blog posts. This will allow links to be placed into buttons within blog posts, all of which can be gamified. (13:50)
  • Capability to assign forms to buttons. Right now, forms must be embedded into blog posts. In the future, forms will be able to be added to any buttons on the dashboard. (14:40)
  • Ability to disable attendees directly on the platform. At the moment, attendees cannot be deleted. However, there will soon be a toggle that gives you the ability to disable an attendee. (16:00) 
  • The ability to delete an attendee once they've been imported will not exist due to the billing and tracking system, however the ability to disable their access to the dashboard will be available soon. (17:30)

Zapier Demo (19:25)

  • Obvio is now available publically on the Zapier platform. The latest version of the Obvio integration will say "beta", next to the Obvio logo. (20:00)
  • What is Zapier? Zapier has integrations with over 3,000 different cloud based applications. If you want to connect multiple platforms together, Zapier can assist without the use of code or developers. (25:45)

  • Choosing an account in Zapier. Create an "Access Token" in the services tab in Obvio. Each event will require a separate access token inside of Zapier. (31:00)
  • Select the information you'd like to send into Obvio (first name, last name, and email are required). (33:20)
  • Setting up groups and tags. (34:30)
  • Each attendee can receive their custom login URL. This information will come from Obvio once the attendee is successfully transferred onto the platform. (35:00)
  • In order to bring that custom URL back into your CRM, a second action is set up within Zapier to tell the system to export the custom URL from Obvio into the CRM (the CRM in this case is HubSpot). (35:00)

  • KEAP and MailChimp are both natively integrated into the Obvio platform, this means, you will NOT need Zapier in order to connect the two platforms. (41:40)

  • At this time, you cannot send out iCal or Google calendar invites via Obvio. However, it is possible using Zapier and your own CRM. (1:18:45)

  • Whenever possible, use a hardwired internet connection while running live events. A hardwire connection improves internet speed and is more reliable. (1:30:00)
