Attendee Default Login

Once your attendees are created or imported into your event on Obvio, they have two ways to log into the event. One is to use the auto-login URL that is unique to each attendee, but for some, getting your attendees this auto-login URL can be complex.

With that in mind, we have created an easy way for your attendees to log into the dashboard, by using the default password created for them when they are created or imported.

Each Obvio Attendee has their default password set to their email address, so if you import someone with the email address help@obv.io, their password will default to help@obv.io.

This means that your users can go to your event's URL (youreventslug.obv.io), and log into their dashboard without needing the auto-login URL!

When sending your attendees to the dashboard for the first time, we recommend using language similar to the following:

You can access your event dashboard by going to youreventslug.obv.io, and entering your email and password to log in. We have gone ahead and setup a temporary password for you, which is YOUR email address (the one we sent this email to).

Once your attendee logs in, they'll be taking through the on-boarding steps that you've enabled for your event, before seeing the event dashboard.
