Attendee Labels Overview

The Attendee Labels page allows you to assign visual labels to attendees based on specific conditions. These labels help you easily identify different types of attendees (such as VIPs, speakers, or special groups) across your event.

Labels are automatically applied using Visibility Rules, so you don’t need to assign them manually to each attendee.

On the Labels page, you can manage all attendee labels for your event.

This page displays:

Priority – Determines the order in which labels appear (you can drag labels up or down to reorder them)
Label – The name and emoji of the label
Visibility Rules – The condition that controls when the label is applied.

I. Creating a Label

To create a new label:

• Click Add Attendee Label
• Enter your Label Text
• Optionally add an emoji for visual identification
• Configure Visibility Rules to define when the label should be applied
• Click Save

You can also use variables such as:

{{ group }} – Displays the attendee’s group value within the label.

II. Editing a Label

When editing a label, you can:

• Update the label text
• Add or change the emoji
• Modify the visibility rules
• Use available variables for dynamic values

III. How to Set Visibility Rules

• Click Visibility Rules when creating or editing a label
• Click Add Rule
• Select the rule type (e.g., Tags, Group, etc.)
• Define the condition (e.g., “tags include VIP”)
• Save your changes

You can create multiple rules to refine how and when the label is applied.

How It Works

Once configured, labels are automatically assigned to attendees who meet the defined conditions. For example:

• If a rule is set to “tags include VIP”, any attendee with the VIP tag will automatically receive the label
• If multiple rules are applied, only attendees who meet those conditions will see the label

Additional Options

Copy Attendee Label – Create a duplicate of the label, including its settings and visibility rules
Delete – Permanently remove the label

Attendee Labels help you organize and visually distinguish attendees in your Zoom event, making it easier to manage different segments and improve the overall event experience.
