The Tech Check step allows attendees to complete a final onboarding or check-in process before accessing the event dashboard.
This feature is commonly used to provide attendees with a quick one-on-one interaction with a member of your team through a Zoom area.

Once the attendee joins the assigned Zoom area, your team can assist them with:
• Event onboarding
• Audio or video checks
• General event guidance
• Questions before entering the dashboard
After the attendee has been checked in by your team, they will automatically be redirected to the event dashboard.
Please Note:
• A Zoom Area must be created and associated with the Tech Check step for it to function properly
• It is recommended to use a separate Zoom Area specifically for Tech Check instead of using the Main Stage area
The Tech Check page includes the following options:
• Enabled / Disabled Toggle – Turn the Tech Check step on or off
• Preview Toggle – Preview the attendee experience
• Skip Tech Check Rules – Configure rules for attendees who should bypass the Tech Check step
• Area Selection – Choose which Zoom area attendees will join during the Tech Check process
• Custom Buttons – Enable custom button configurations
This step provides a more personalized welcome experience and helps ensure attendees are prepared before entering your event dashboard.
