2 min. readlast update: 05.08.2026

The Waiver step allows organizers to present attendees with legal agreements, consent forms, or important event statements before they access the event dashboard.

This step can be enabled or disabled depending on your event requirements.

The Waiver page includes the following options:

Enabled / Disabled Toggle – Turn the Waiver step on or off
Preview Toggle – Preview how the Waiver page will appear to attendees
Skip Waiver Rules – Configure rules that allow specific attendees to bypass the waiver step
Additional Waivers – Create separate waivers for different attendee types

I. Additional Waivers

Additional waivers allow you to create different waiver experiences for specific attendee groups, such as virtual attendees and in-person attendees.

For example:

• Virtual attendees can receive a waiver specifically for online participation
• In-person attendees can receive a separate waiver for physical event attendance

This allows different waiver forms and agreements to appear depending on the attendee’s assigned tags, groups, or visibility rules.

When creating an additional waiver, you can configure:

• Waiver File Title
• Custom waiver body content
• Agreement statement
• Signature prompt
• Signature requirements
• Visibility rules

II. Visibility Rules

Visibility Rules determine which attendees will receive a specific waiver.

Available rule types include:

• Tags
• Group
• Nested Rule
• Form Response
• Time

III. Priority Order

When multiple waivers are configured:

• Priority determines the order in which waivers are evaluated
• Waivers can be reordered depending on your setup requirements

Using the Waiver step helps organizers collect attendee acknowledgments and create a smoother onboarding experience before attendees enter the event dashboard.
