The Emoji Page in Obvio is a production feature that displays a live stream of floating emojis submitted by attendees during an event. It is designed to visually showcase audience engagement during live broadcasts or large-scale virtual events.

I. What the Emoji Page Does

When attendees click emoji reactions on their dashboards, those reactions appear in real time on the Emoji Page as animated floating emojis.

This page is typically used by production teams or hosts and is not usually viewed directly by attendees.

III. Emoji Demo Mode

The Demo Page lets you preview how emojis will appear on the Emoji Page without needing live attendee reactions.

To use it:

  1. Go to Production → Emoji Page.
  2. Click Start Demo.
  3. Choose how long the demo runs: 1m, 5m, 10m, or ∞.
  4. Select the emojis you want to include.
  5. Click Start Demo again to begin the preview.

The selected emojis will appear as floating animated emojis, allowing you to test visibility, background settings, and livestream/OBS overlays before the event goes live.

Notes

  • The Emoji Page works best for large-scale events with multiple Zoom rooms or high attendee engagement
  • All attendee emoji reactions are aggregated into a single centralized display
  • For smaller events, standard Zoom reactions may be sufficient without requiring a dedicated Emoji Page setup
  • Demo emojis are simulated and are only used for testing.
