Managing Page Visibility in Your Website

To help you maintain a clean and relevant website experience, the platform includes a feature that allows you to easily enable or disable specific pages. This is especially useful during the early stages of building your site, or when certain sections are not yet ready to be published.

Why Disable Pages?

There are a few common scenarios where disabling a page is recommended:

  • You don’t yet have content prepared for that section
  • The information is incomplete or still being finalized
  • The page is not relevant to your current event or website
  • You want to avoid showing placeholder or empty pages to visitors

By disabling unfinished pages, you ensure that your website remains polished, professional, and focused only on what’s important.

Pages You Can Disable

You have the option to turn off visibility for the following pages:

  • Sign Up Page – Hide this if registration is not open or not required

  • Speakers Page – Disable if speaker details are not yet confirmed

  • Sponsors Page – Useful if you don’t have sponsors to display yet

  • FAQ Page – Hide until you’ve compiled frequently asked questions

  • Zoom Backgrounds – Disable if you’re not providing downloadable backgrounds

  • Image Entries – Disable if you do not have entries for images

How It Works

When a page is disabled:

  • It will no longer appear in your website’s navigation menu
  • Visitors will not be able to access it via direct links
  • The page remains saved in your backend, so you can enable it anytime

Best Practices

  • Only enable pages when you have meaningful content ready
  • Regularly review your enabled pages to ensure accuracy
  • Use this feature to stage content before making it public
  • Re-enable pages once content is complete and ready for visitors
