Forms Report Overview

The Form Reports feature in Obvio allows you to generate a downloadable PDF that compiles all form responses submitted by an attendee throughout an event. This gives participants a single, consolidated document of their data instead of reviewing individual form submissions.

Note: The videos included in this article may show an outdated user interface. However, the functionality and overall process remain the same.

What Form Reports Do

The Form Reports feature is designed to aggregate all attendee responses from selected forms into a single PDF file.

This is especially useful for events where attendees complete multiple forms or progress through a multi-step experience. Instead of losing track of responses, attendees can download a final report that includes all their submitted answers in one structured document.

How It Works

When configured, the system:

  • Collects attendee responses from selected forms
  • Compiles responses into a downloadable PDF
  • Makes the report available through a dashboard button

Key Capabilities

You can:

  • Include multiple forms in one report
  • Customize the PDF header, body, and footer
  • Control which forms appear in the export
  • Link the report to a dashboard download button

Finalizing Your Report

Before publishing:

  • Confirm the correct forms are included
  • Review the PDF formatting and styling
  • Test the dashboard download button
  • Verify the report generates correctly for attendees

Once finalized, attendees will be able to download a complete PDF summary of all their form responses directly from their dashboard.

Notes

  • Form Reports must be set to Active and linked to a dashboard button for attendees to access them
  • Only forms explicitly selected in the configuration will be included in the exported PDF
  • The PDF supports basic styling but has limited advanced layout flexibility
  • When combining multiple forms, there is no native support for section headers or visual breaks between forms
  • A common workaround is using the first question of each form as a contextual “header”
