Login As An Attendee for Testing Purposes

Logging in as an Attendee

From time to time, you may want to log in as an attendee to view your dashboard experience, test buttons, or verify attendee flows within your event.

Follow the steps below to create and access a test attendee account:

  1. Go to the Attendees tab for your event
  2. Click Add Attendee to create a sample attendee
  3. Enter the attendee’s:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email Address
  4. Click Create

Please note:
You may use the same email address associated with your Obvio admin account

  1. Search for your test attendee using the search bar
  2. Click on the attendee’s name to open the attendee details
  3. Locate the Login URL field
  4. Click the Copy icon beside the Login URL
  5. Open a new browser tab
  6. Paste the copied URL into your browser and press Enter

Using this Login URL will automatically log you in as the attendee.

Depending on which onboarding steps are enabled for your event, you may be required to complete:

• Password Step
• Waiver Step
• Tech Check Step

Once completed, you will be able to experience the dashboard exactly as your attendees would.

Skipping the Tech Check Step for Testing

If the Tech Check step is enabled and you do not want to manually join Zoom or complete the full Tech Check process, you can manually check in your test attendee from the admin dashboard.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Attendees tab for your event
  2. Search for your test attendee by name or email address
  3. Click the blue Check-In button beside the attendee

This will manually complete the Tech Check process for that attendee.
