Configuring the points page will link directly into the leaderboard attendees can view from the main event dashboard.

Configuring Attendee Points in the Sidebar

Notes

  • The actions that will be awarded points are defined in the points tab. 
  • The leaderboard is also defined in the points section in the upper right corner under "page settings". 
  • The sidebar is where each attendee will view the number of points they have earned during the event. This is updated each time an attendee takes an action that earns them points. 
  • The sidebar can be linked to the leaderboard where attendees can view their standing on the overall leaderboard. 

Configuring the Pop-Up

You can define the pop-up attendee's will see everytime they earn points. This is done under "PAGE SETTINGS" in the points tab in Obvio. The text, background color, and text color can be customized. See the example below.

The finished pop-up, which attendees will see, is shown below. It will display in the lower left corner of the dashboard when points are awarded.

Exporting the Leaderboard

Exporting the leaderboard will allow anyone on the backend of Obvio to download the leaderboard, which contains the full roster of attendees who have earned points during the event. 

Clearing the Leaderboard

Prior to the event, team members may test the dashboard to be sure everything is working properly. You could disable the leaderboard at this time to ensure these team members or test attendees do not accumulate points. However, if you'd like to leave the leaderboard active, there is an option to "CLEAR LEADERBOARD" before attendees begin checking in. 

You can also add, subtract, and clear individual attendee's points in case that becomes necessary at any point. This is done in the attendees tab in Obvio, as it is done on an individual attendee basis.
