Depending on the subscription status of the organization you belong to, the steps for removing yourself as a team member will vary. Please follow the appropriate guide below.

1. How to remove yourself from an organization you no longer want to see (Active Subscription)

If the organization has an active Obvio subscription, you cannot manually remove yourself from it if you have been added as a team member.

To be removed, you must contact the owner of that organization and ask them to revoke your access.

Instructions to provide to the Organization Owner:
  1. Log into the Obvio admin panel (app.obv.io).
  2. Navigate to the specific organization.
  3. Open the Team menu.
  4. Scroll down to the team member you wish to remove, click the three dots next to their name, and select Delete team member.
Once the owner removes your access, the organization will no longer appear in your account list.

2. How to remove yourself from an organization that no longer has an active Obvio subscription
(Note: This covers the new platform update for inactive accounts).

If you are a team member of an organization that no longer has a paid subscription, you now have the ability to remove yourself directly without needing to contact the owner.
Steps to leave an inactive organization:
  1. Attempt to access the organization from your Obvio account.
  2. Because the subscription is inactive, a dialog box will appear on your screen notifying you of the account's status.
  3. Click the Leave button located on this dialog box.
  4. Clicking this button will instantly remove you as a team member from the organization, thus completely removing the organization from your list.
Important Note for Account Owners: The self-service "Leave" option is only available to team members. If you are the owner of the organization, you cannot remove yourself from it, regardless of the subscription status.
